Conquer the opposition! The Warlord Hobby League has arrived at Games and Stuff!
Vent that Monday angst by joining us from 6 - 9 PM on Monday evenings. The current league format is "The Fires of Winters Past" and it works like this:
- Purchase an Epic-legal battlepack and two booster packs from any (even non-Epic) in-stock expansion.
- Make a 30-card deck.
- Challenge and play other Warlords all night long.
Each week, you add 1 or 2 boosters of your choice to your card pool. Plus, you can hone your deck by trading with other players. Week 2's deck size minimum is 40 cards, and Week 3 - 12's deck size minimum is 50 cards.
"Playing Warlord is fun and all," you're thinking, "but don't I get anything out of it?" Of course! For each game you play, you earn 50 experience points. If you win a game, you earn 50 additional experience points (for a total of 100). Also, you get 50 points each week just for showing up.
"Yeah, yeah, points are great and all, but what do I use 'em for?"
