Hello friends!
I'm Paul Alexander Butler, the owner of Games and Stuff. You may have noticed things look a little different around here, and anywhere else you can find us on the web.
While we've teased a new logo and let it out into the world in small ways since late last year, the time has come for it to make its official debut! This has been a project we've been working on for well over a year, and it's just the beginning of some big, BIG things we have on the horizon for the rest of 2023.
We've come a long way since I started managing the store in 2010, when we were a little Magic: the Gathering focused shop. In the intervening years, miniatures have become one of the keystones of our business, and with board games (and recently D&D) reaching an ever-wider audience, we were well past due for a new look.
We wanted to move away from some of the inscrutable iconography that only die-hard gamers would recognize, and bring a sense of playfulness to our imagery.
We also wanted something that would speak to the weird and magical humans that are our on our team and in our community. Plus anyone that knows me knows that I'm an animal lover, with roots in Baltimore City, so yay rats!
We hope you'll join us in celebrating our new look. We have so many more surprises in store for you this year. Including one really big one. Did I mention it was big?
Finally, for all the people who have been asking, t-shirts with the new logo will be available the first week of May. And for only $10!
