Happy Spring everyone! We've got a big Saturday planned this week at the store!
First of all, we're doing a big BOOK SALE*! All weekend long, Saturday and Sunday.
The entire book department is 20% off! That's all of our fiction and non-fiction, including Osprey historical books, plus bookmarks, tote bags, and tarot cards! We don't do these sorts of sales that often, so take advantage of it while you can! See below for the fine print.
On Saturday at noon is this month's Board Game Social and this time around we're having a double feature of Lord of the Rings themed games! Your $10 entry fee gets you access to demos of both The Fellowship of the Ring Trick-Taking Game AND Duel for Middle-Earth! We'll be giving away a bunch of games as door prizes and attendees get discounts on either/both games if they decided to buy them. We'll also have a very limited quantity of the promotional PAX Unplugged 2024 exclusive pin that was given away during the pre-release of the trick-taker back in December.
And as a special last-minute bonus, Andy Looney from Looney Labs will be joining us for the Social, showing off new prototypes and accepting opponents who dare to challenge him at Homeworlds!
Finally, we've got our monthly Heroscape Organized Play event starting Saturday at 11am! This is an opportunity to come out and try the classic miniature dueling game with excited longtime fans and newcomers alike. Veterans can feel free to bring their own boards and models and brand new folks can learn to play on our set. These events also give access to special promotional models and accessories.
