BASEBALL HIGHLIGHTS: 2045

It’s the year 2032, and baseball made a bold step to revolutionize the game to a whole new level. It started with the games being shorted to 6 innings, then pitchers were encouraged to have bionic arm implants to improve themselves. By 2041 robotic players were introduced and quickly dominated the league. But in 2045, human players, known as Naturals, began to breathe life into the game. Fans are energized and rooting for their favorites - whether ‘Bots, ‘Borgs or Naturals. Everyone can agree - it’s time… to play ball!

In Baseball Highlights 2045, the game is played in a series of 4-7 minute mini-games. Each player manages a six-card line-up, drawn from his roster of active players. At the end of each mini-game, Free Agents are recruited, their contracts are paid for, and they are assigned to the 15-card roster, replacing Rookies and Veterans who are sent down to the Minor Leagues. The winner is the manager whose team prevails in a series of a predetermined length.

Players will love being inside the game and building their strategy and tactics as they go. Baseball has never been more fulfilling or captivating. Baseball Highlights 2045 includes rules for tournament, 3-player and solitaire play. One game box has enough components for 4 players to play simultaneously. By combining boxes, you can easily host tournaments of 8, 12, 16 or more players.

Baseball Highlights 2045 uses deck/pool building, hand management and take that mechanics, and is a must for every baseball fan.
