BELLA NOTTE BOHÉME LONG MAXI SLIP DRESS BY MARKET OF STARS

Meaning “Beautiful Night”, our Bella Notte print is a dramatic tribute to romance. The seated woman in the trees was painted in 1880 by artist & poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti. The charming rabbit comes from a painting done in 1585. The open book at the bottom of the design reads “Many are the stars I see, yet in my eye no star like thee” — words which we took from an engraving inside the band of an antique gold ring. The moonlit river landscape on the bodice comes from an 1840's British oil painting, and the exquisite floral trim is from the border of a calligraphic manuscript by William Morris. You can also wear it two ways, with the moon on the front of the bodice, or the back — depending on your mood.

Please note: The nature of this viscose means it’s slightly sheer, so they recommend wearing a full or half-slip with this style. 100% viscose (derived from plant fibres such as wood and bamboo). Machine wash gentle or handwash, hang to dry.

Sizes are S/M which will fit ladies' sizes 2-10 (approx) and L/XL which will fit ladies' sizes 12-16 (approx). It all depends on how loose you would like the fit to be. (Please see measurements below)

These measurments are taken flat, so please double. The best way to decide which size is best for you is to measure a dress or similar garment in your closet. Straps are adjustable.
