MESB THE TRUE KING OF MARYLAND GRAND TOURNAMENT (NOVEMBER 7-8, 2026)

The True King of MD MESBG Grand Tournament 

This event will take place on November 7th and 8th with a $45 entry fee. 30 spots are available to play. The point level will be 675. Rules from the current edition and most recent faq will be used. Players may build their army using any legion from Armies of The Lord of the Rings, Armies of Middle Earth, Armies of the Hobbit, and Legacies of Middle Earth. There are no banned models. This will be a very straight forward event with no long speeches, no side quests, no house rules, just five rounds of pure MESBG. 

Lists must be submitted no later than 4pm on 10/23. Players who submit late will incur a -1 VP penalty per game. PLEASE USE TABLETOP ADMIRAL TO BUILD YOUR LIST. Email Tom with lists and questions: [email protected]. 

For each round four random scenarios will be presented and players will use the veto system to pick a scenario. 

Saturday Schedule 

Registration: 10am-10:45am 

Game 1: 10:45am-12:45pm

Lunch: 12:45pm-1:45pm

Game 2: 1:45pm-3:45pm

Game 3: 4pm-6pm

Sunday Schedule

Game 1: 10:30-12:30

Lunch: 12:30-1:30

Game 2: 1:30-3:30

Rounds will be two hours long. Time remaining in the round will be frequently announced and after 120 minutes players will be allowed to finish the turn they are on to end the game.
